Tenby Harbour

At Tenby (6 miles away) there is a bustling harbour and four beautiful beaches facing different directions to enable you to maximise the sunshine available. The shops for your souvenirs and the restaurants and inns are set within the Town Walls in picturesque narrow streets. Tenby

Caldey Island can be reached in 20 minutes by boat from Tenby harbour. This island with its Cistercian Monastery and lighthouse is very peaceful.

Saundersfoot (5 miles away) was once a small fishing village but is now popular for its lively atmosphere, fishing and sailing from the harbour and its sandy beaches.

Numerous castles remain in the area including Carew, Manorbier and Pembroke which boasts the finest keep of all the Welsh castles.

Broadhaven can be reached by walking through Bosherston lily ponds or down the cliff steps. The effort is rewarding with a superb beach, dune backed, especially fine sand and safe bathing in clean water.

Aerial Beach

Oakwood Leisure Park is only 2 miles away and offers entertainment for all ages. There is an aqua chute, bobsleigh run, roller coaster, water coaster, assault courses, go-karts and much more. Alongside Oakwood is the Canaston Centre which offers ten pin bowling.

Folly Farm is 3 miles away from Beachdean and is the ideal place for children to watch and participate in the working of a Welsh dairy farm.

Heatherton Country Sports Park is a short drive away, where oportunities exist for you to sample bowls, golf, laser clay pigeon shooting, archery, croquet and other pursuits.

There are many riding stables to chose from, golf courses at Tenby and Haverfordwest, fishing (both freshwater and sea), and leisure centres at Narberth, Tenby and Pembroke.
